Poetry book, new earrings and friends

I read this poetry book the other day and it was really beautiful. These are some of my favorites. 

Yuki and I got our third piercings the other day. I love it. And she does too. 

Yuki and her posse did an escape room the other day and succeeded. These cute kids. I love them. I’m glad yuki has good friends. 

Takeshi started talking to this girl Morgan’s and yuki snaked these pics.

Cats and mtbing

 

Our cats are cute and lazy and awesome. They’re still hunting and fighting. We got Goban shaved but they did a crap job. So new place next year. Love these guys. 

We’ve been out and about mtbing with each other and friends. Emiko did Shane’s loop the other day and it was rough but I was so proud of her. Here’s everyone that came with us. It was a great group.

Robie creek with Bleazards

We just had the best day Monday going out to Robie creek with the Bleazards and paddle boarding/ kyacking down the river. 

The kids jumped off the bridge for a while. Then Bryan got a bloody nose. 

Then they climbed these huge rocks. 

Then we sat on the dock and ate and played. It was awesome and a great way to spend a summer day.

Demo, lawns, tournament and more

 

Masaru left Thursday early morning for his rugby tournament in Montana. They came third. He enjoyed himself and drove a bunch of kids up in the van. 

Dru started demoing the upstairs bathroom. The sink and toilet still work which is nice for now. It’ll be nice when it’s done. There was alot of leakage going on with the shower. More than suspected. So I’m glad we didn’t leave it longer. It’ll be a slow process. But that’s ok.

Yuki thought the kid on the left was cute soo has started talking to him. She dumped this other kid she was talking to as he was exhausting and immature and just weird. So I’m glad that’s over. We’ll see if this goes anywhere. 

I’m glad masaru is home safe and not injured and it all went well. 

We had Masarus car for the weekend and it was like old times. We sent him this video 😂 We liked this car 20 years ago when we had it. It’sa good car. I’m glad we found one for masaru. 

Here’s yuki using the lawnmower for the first time. I wish I got more of her using it but I got busted videoing her. 

We had the Landon’s over for dinner last night which was nice. We also watched the chosen which was epic as always. It’s hard not to jump forward but we’re dragging it out as something got us to watch on Sundays which is a good thing. 

Dru and I helped paint Putesings house this past weekend and it turned out great. She really likes it and that’s awesome. 

Kk stayed the night last night. I’m glad yuki found her as a friend. She’s beautiful in every way. 

Emiko is drawing wonderful pictures at the moment. 

Yuki set Takeshi up with talking to a girl on her bball team. Which I’ma little sad about. But Takeshi seems to be happy about it. So we’ll see how that goes. 

I’ve been sick and that hasn’t been fun. I’m taking medication now for it. 

This week

(From the youth activity last night)
 Soo this week has been fun. 

Dru got the bathroom finally done and dusted and I need to move everything downstairs so he can start working on this bathroom upstairs.  He also did an amazing job running a youth activity Wednesday night where they had to go from station to station doing certain activities. I think the kids loved it. 

I’ve been mtbing with Emiko and going on walks. I’ve been hanging out with the kids and being Yukis life coach while she’s been out of town. I’ve been fighting an infection which sucks. So hopefully that’ll leave soon. The weather has been crazy. 

Masaru just left to Montana for his TOA rugby tournament. Hopefully they do well. It’s expensive. But I hope he has fun. He’s been trying to work a ton. He seems happy. 

Yuki has been gone all week at bball camp and misses home but is making the most of it. She never wants to do this camp again she tells me. But they’ve won all their game except one and she tells me she’s playing well which is good. She still like this boy Talon who’s up and down with her. So we’ll see what happens. She’s excited to come home today and see kk. 

Takeshi went for his first mtb ride of the year yesterday with his friend keely and decided to do 30 miles and almost 3000 vertical feet of climbing. He came home in good spirits but was tired. He just needed food and to relax. He helped dad with the activity last night and enjoyed being with everyone. He hangs out with a variety of mates. It’s great. 

Emiko finished doing math and I need to try and motivate her to be doing math daily. It’s tough. I’m trying to get her to mtb twice a week and ride the peloton but that’s tough to. She’sa little sick right now so I’m letting her sleep in in the mornings so her body can recover. She’s been enjoying hanging out with mates this week and has been pretty chill.
