Saturday 28th

We were all pooped. The kids have been sleeping in a while in the mornings. So many late 'party' nights is catching up on them I think haha.
I went over to mum's to get some clothes and figure out what to do for the day. We WERE going to go to the luge but it was raining pretty bad and so had to figure out a plan b for the weather.
We all tossed ideas around and came up with tenpin bowling and lunch afterwards in Hamilton.
Llewellyn and Ashaan decided to stay home because they were tired and the rest of us headed out to Hamilton together.
All the cars were full to capacity.
Dru and I ended up going with Bevin, Dior and Yves. It was nice to sit in the car and catch up with them.
We got to Hamilton and parked up and got organized to play.
I forget how many of us there is to wrangle. It's quite the procession really.
We got some pictures of it and I'm hassling my nephew like crazy to get me the other pictures he took. So we'll see when he gets them to us.

It was pretty fun man.

Fun right? Also a bonus was that mum and Pete had decided to shout us all. That was especially nice for Haydn............................lol
Everyone had a great time and some of us did average some did great.

The kids were hungry and thirst by the end though so we knew we needed to get some lunch and fast.
We got a big group picture though. I'm excited to see what it looks like.
We headed over to Wendy's to get their $5 lunch deals.
My best mate Kat had come down from Auckland to meet us and hang out. So we met her at Wendy's. It was REALLY good to see her and catch up.
Her family is beautiful and it was nice to be able to be with them so I could get to know her kids and they could get to know me.
We sat and chatted and then the family all headed their own ways. Half went home and the other half did a little more shopping before they went home.
Dior found us a chemist so Yuki could get her ears pierced. We were so excited for that.
So we all headed over to the shopping mall to make the plunge for Yuki.

She was shown a bunch of earrings and decided to go with her birthday month, which impressed me as there were other cute ones you know.
I took a video of it.
Yuki can tell that she's nervous but is trying to be brave. So cute. I thought she did well considering she hates this kind of stuff. She loves them and I think they look great and am excited for her.

Kat decided to get her ears done as well. So that was cool. Look at her cute girl in the background.
After that we did a little shopping and then headed back to Tok.
Kat came down with us as well to have dinner and hang out with the family.
Yuki jumped in with Kat and talked to them the whole trip. It was great.
It was nice to sit and chat with Bevin and Dior on the way home.

When we got back to Tok we were picking up some food and low and behold my other brother Gareth and his wife Livi were there too. So we got to catch up while shopping, so I jumped in the car with them!!

We got back to Llew and Ashaan's place and all hung out and had something to eat together. It was a lot of food and it, almost, all got eaten. You forget how big your family is I guess.
After the night was coming to an end, people started heading back to go to sleep and settle their kids.

Our kids were going crazy with all their cuzzies man.  Llew and Ashaan have this bedroom with a TV and tons of mattresses in it, and that's a life saver for the kids. They all have a great time in there.
Kat decided to go stay with her hubby's mate in Hamilton, so she left then the rest of us talked for a while together then headed to bed.
It's funny cause I'll stay up late and get up earlier than Dru. I wonder when it's gonna catch up on me? Hahahaha on the plane ride home I'll be a nutter.
Anyway Saturday was a great day, really great.

Friday 27th

We had stayed the night at Llew's but went back to mum's to get homework and stuff done as a family.
Emiko played with her cousins while the kids quietly submitted to their fate.
It was nice to hang out with Haydn and Jessie and the kids and to see the new addition of Violet, into our family.
Dru went mountain biking and I went for a walk with my sister. It was a good walk and I'm glad I went. I listened to my sister talk and took in nature and was grateful for time spent with her and also for the beauty of Tok. People give Tok a hard time as a rough place and all this stuff, and it is, but coming from a desert, I think it's beautiful.
Dru got his hair cut from Daisho and they had to find me on the walk, because too much time had passed and I had to help get everyone ready for the Temple trip.
I had asked my sister if she could watch the kids while we went to the sealing, and she had said yes.
So I came back, showered and got the kids ready to head to their Aunty's place.
We had planned on being on the road around 3pm but in typical fashion were a little late from that start time.
We went and picked Dru up from the hair place and I'd brought his clothes with him so he could get changed in the car on the way to Hamilton hahaha I'd totally forgotten his socks though.
We'd jumped in the car with Haydn and Jessie, so it was nice to chat for the trip.

We made it to the temple on time with no worries.
This sealing was a little different as Ashaan and Llew had their two kids to be brought in and sealed to them. So Ashaan's Aunty and Ayuri (llew's daughter) looked after the kids while they waited to be brought in.

Llewellyn and Ashaan came in and were sealed together first. It was great and I was really happy for them. The person who sealed them was really nice as well. That always makes a huge difference. He was a lovely man.
When the kids were brought in they were already restless and weren't having a bar of it. So we got through it quickly..............
We then went outside and got some pictures to capture the moment.

After we got some pictures we headed to a restaurant called 'Mexican' and got some food there.
I have a picture of all of us there but just need to grab it from my brother, then I'll put it up here.

We talked, ate good food and hung out. Then we all started to head home.
Bevin and Dior needed to get their other car and so Dru and I went with them and drove their other car back to Tok.
Delwyn went and picked up the kids from Sarah's place, as he had turned up earlier and Sarah said the kids had done great. I have some pictures, somewhere of them playing together.

She has a beautiful back yard and so the kids played games together and had a great time. I was grateful for the help and was glad the cuzzies could be together.
We were all pretty pooped and so talked for a little bit then went to bed.
