Our Thanksgiving trip to Georgia - Day after Thanksgving

After a great Thanksgiving day and night we slept well and got up the next day and headed out for family pictures. Masaru wasn't impressed but I put my foot down and he came. Here we all are walking down to the railroad and river. Can you see us all?
Dru and I decided to snag some pic's first.
Not the best, not the worst.

Then we started to get some family pic's.

Hahahaha Masaru's face.

This one turned out decent.
Cool pic of the area.

Then we changed locations to this cool tree. It was a little tricky getting up there though.

Some other cool shots of the area.

Love this pic of Dru and the kids.
These two are pretty good mates. I love it.
Some of the shots we got.
Little bit of sass.
A whole lot of attitude from Yuki alright hahahahahaha
Getting situated.

I like this picture of us.

Yuki's face hahahahaha
Walking back to the cabin.

After we finished the pictures we had something to eat and then headed out to the little shopping strip with cute rings, clothes etc.
The boys, Masaru, Takeshi, Dru, Zayden and Stephen all headed out in Stephen's jeep and went on a jeep trail and had a great time as well.
These are some of the shot's the took on their jeep trail.

We also took these pictures when we got back to the cabin. The kids were totally over it but I, again, put my foot down, and said just one more round. I think they turned out well.

There was a graveyard at the top of the jeep trail which they said was pretty cool.

They also went to the Georgia and Tennessee border meeting place. So they stood with two feet in either state which was pretty cool.
Us girls had a great time too. Emiko got a ring and bracelet. Yuki got a gift for Takeshi for Christmas as well as a hat, sticker, ring and a sweatshirt. I got some clothes, earings, and necklaces. Super happy. I really liked this ring but it was $120 and that's too much for just a ring.
We had a great time.
We all met up and the boys saw the rock shop and then we headed back and packed up ready to leave early the next day.
We spent the night playing games and eating. It was great.

Thanksgiving day in Georgia

We woke up in the morning and went for a walk down to the river. It was beautiful and a great walk. Masaru didn't come with. We went with Zayden, Stephen and Amy and the dog. It was nice to get out and to see more of the terrain.

We found this swing so I wanted a pic of the two of us on it like an old couple. We need to go back and get one when we're 70.
Another pic. Dru told me not to reach over, that the normal sitting pic would look better. What do you think? I think, yet again, Dru is right.
Amy captured this sweet picture of our Emiko playing down by the river.
Love her.
Then the kids wanted to get in on the swing action.
Love, love this picture of my girls and I. I think I might frame it.
Yuki down by the river. It was a good time and I'm glad we went.

When we got back we started helping out with Thanksgiving dinner. Amy had it mostly sussed but we needed to help with little things here and there. So we all worked on helping to get dinner ready while the kids played and watched TV.
Here are the kids playing cards. They had a great time and we all loved playing boardgames together that day and all night. It was pretty cool.

Here we are at the Thanksgiving feast. It was amazing and super yummy. We had turkey and ham, potatoes, sweet potatoes, beans, carrots and rolls. So good.
Loved that we spent Thanksgiving with the Draper's. Such a cool family.
Amy tried to get herself into the picture so we could all be in it. hahahaha So cool.
They have one more boy who lives in Boise that couldn't be there. We missed him.
Then Timberlee, who's a hairdresser, straightened my hair and curled Yuki's hair then also straightened Masaru's hair. Let me get the picture of Masaru's hair straightened. Talk about weird mate.
We took some pic's of Yuki with her hair straightened cause the curl never lasts long. We took some by the Christmas tree as well.

Hahahaha crazy right?
We got Yuki in front of the tree and got her pictured hahahahaha

Little sass mate.
She's so beautiful.
I'm not sure she even knows.

I love her.
It was a great Thanksgiving day. One for the books alright. We've really enjoyed our Thanksgivings over the years with friends and family. It's such a great time with the ones you love with food that's tasty. What's not to love about it right? Thanksgiving has always been a great time with great people, and this one is no exception.
Super glad we were there.
