So these pictures were taken back in May when my Auntie and Mum and Pete were over.
Maree was playing with her new phone and took these pictures and sent them to me then I promptly forgot to put them on the blog. So here we are.
Takeshi on one of his favourite things in one of his favourite places......his bike on the pumptrack.

How cute is this picture of Emiko mid-jump?

Relaxing on the hammocks. One of the best purchases we've made.

Cute girls.

Then here's some of the 'out takes' from the photo session we did with Natalie the other day. Natalie was showing my kids where we were going and I had to snap a pic of her with my children. She's known Masaru since he was 3 and Yuki since she was 11 months old. She's watched them grow up most of their lives. Pretty special relationship. It makes taking pictures easy as the kids are so comfortable with her. I love Natalie.

Yuki REALLY wanted a picture in this tree. So I obliged.

So then the rest of the kids wanted in on the action. Talk about awkward picture.

Selfies

Emiko pulling her weight at the session.

Cute girls.

Real pic's of the day we went there.

Sisters.

We had a day off of school and Takeshi woke up and wanted to have momo for breakfast. So he cooked them up and we were out of sauce, so he made himself some gyoza sauce that his father taught him incase we run out. I don't even know how to make that. This guy and his food man. I hope his future wife knows how to cook cause that'll be the way to his heart.

I was flustered one day and flew in from somewhere and said how hungry I was but I needed to shower. So I jumped in the shower and Takeshi had made me a tuna sandwich and left it in the fridge for me. I mean COME ON ......... how cute is that right!!!! What a champ.

Jobecka got herself a NEW BIKE after agonizing over what she wanted for a few months. This is it. The Rocky Mountain intense 29'er. She LOVES it and I love that she loves it. She's giddy over it and it's so great to see her so happy.
She wanted me to come on her FIRST ride with her, so I dropped everything and went with her. It was awesome.
We'd already worked out that morning lifting weights at the gym, but when the mountains call, you oblige.

Takeshi needed to get a picture with it. One day Takeshi, one day, for now your bike will do. This kid is going to have no money for drugs with his love of bikes.

In her element. Isn't she beautiful? It's not even my bike hahahahaha

Here we are at the end of our ride. Dru popped in for the third wheel award. Hey man no one can pass up an opportunity to ride right?

Then later on that afternoon I'd promised Takeshi a ride. So I promptly went back ot and took him up kestral and down hulls. He totally rocked it. He's a champ man.

He wanted a selfie in the car. Do I look worn out? Cause I felt it. Love this boy.

Then us three went mtb yesterday in EPIC conditions and it was HEAVENLY. My heaven is going to have AMAZING trails for DH only riding. That's my heaven at least. Man we were so giddy. I love this sport.

Jo on her new bike and me with Fury loving it.

Masaru is in wrestling and it's kinda weird. We haven't been to a match yet but our mates the Harlin's took these pic's of Masaru wrestling for us. So far he's lost 5 matches and won one. I'm going to watch him wrestle for the first time this Monday. I'm scared.

This is Yuki's artwork we did a few weeks ago in her class. I'm going again next week to do a Thanksgiving art piece with them.

These two have a playdate at least once a week on Wednesday's.
Pretty cute right?

I'm pretty sure they've got lipstick on.

Hahahaha loves these pictures.
This weekend we have NO PLANS!! Can you believe that!!!! Me neither. Dru's gonna work on the yard a little, he's been sick the past couple of days, and I'm going to work out and clean the house, maybe knit and read? Who knows man, it's gonna be amazing.
Masaru is off on a camp out tonight for the night and our mates kids are coming over for a movie night with us tonight while our friends go out to dinner. So it should be fun to be together. I enjoy it when we can be together.
How nice is it to have ZERO SPORTS on Saturday's. Makes me wanna quit sports.........almost. Hahaha
I think we've decided to do spring soccer and nothing in the Autumn so we can go mountain biking as a family together. Sounds like a sweet deal to me.
I'm feeling pretty good for the most part.
I went to Relief Society for the first time in years on Sunday. I felt awkward and out of place, so that's great.
Ok I don't think anyone really reads this much so I think I'm pretty safe here. I'm going to wallow a little so bare with me.
It's also been painful to be released from YW's and feel completely ignored by everyone.
I wrote everyone a letter and gave them a small gift and have received nothing back from ANYONE. No thankyou notes no calls, texts, hugs..... nothing, from anyone and I feel a little hurt about it all.
Now I know the girls love me and I'm not sure if the leaders liked me, but nothing?
I also know I shouldn't have expectations either cause you always get hurt and this is a great example.
I put my whole heart into this calling for three years with these girls and these ladies and no one has anything to say to me? Like no one wants to say thank you? Anyone? No? Not even the bishop has talked to me.............like.........at all!!!
It's baffling to me to say the least.
It's like you're called and used for your allotted time then pushed aside and no one looks back.
So I'm dealing, silently, with that right now and would really, rather not go to church to be honest, but know that's stupid.
Ok so now that's out there let me also say this, so you don't think I'm a punk.
I know that a calling isn't for the glory, I know it's mostly for you and for your growth as an individual. I know that change is good and I also know, because I've talked to numerous people who've been presidents of things before, that these feelings are normal and quite common. You're in a big role and then when you're released it's tough as you feel like nobody needs you anymore or cares about you.
Logically I know this to be false. I also know that I need to stay out of the girls lives a little bit to give the new leadership a chance so have backed off a little you know.
BUT in saying that I had a YW I used to be with text me and us work though some struggles of hers and another one who's just had a baby come spend a few hours with me the other day.
I know as time passes this will all be forgotten and I'll be just fine.
Usually I'd be in a new calling and busy and have no time to think, but because I'm not going to be in a calling until I get home from NZ I have time to mill around and feel sorry for myself a little.
I'll be ok people. Don't call the psychologist just yet. These are simply my real feelings that I'll work though and be fine with.
That's my only thing right now. Everything else is going great. I'm stronger than ever and feeling good in my body and mind. Dru and I are great and my kids and home life are wonderful. I'm getting to go home soon and am so pumped about that. The kids are happy in school and have great friends and teachers. I have amazing friends and people around me and a sweet, sweet life.
It's good to struggle with things and for me to be humbled.
So I'll continue to be happy and work through my 'feelings' and slowly heal myself and let myself continue to know I did a great job and am happy with my leadership until the next time.
Ok so I think that's it, peanut gallery.
Peace out.
Milz xx
