So this week's been awesome man. I mean the kids are having fun, the adults are having fun, it's just been a great week of family and friend fun.
Monday Grandma took the cuzzies to Kangaroo Zoo which is a BIG bouncy house place. Man the kids were running around like mad rabbits.
I didn't get any pictures sorry. I barely survived it to tell the truth. Even then Takeshi lost a pair of his good socks. Apparently they've found one so fingers crossed they'll find the other one before we have to go back to Boise.
That night we left the kids with Grandma, THANKS GRANDMA, and went to Kyoto with our mates the Hascals and the Lloyds and Dax for dinner. We got there at 6:30pm and before you know it 9pm rolls around and we're still laughing and having fun. Great food and good mates, what a great night, though we did miss our friends the Davis' who were missing, it wasn't the same without them.
After that all the siblings and spouses went to see SHERLOCK HOLMES the sequel. WOW..................totally LOVED IT.
Everyone should see it, except if you didn't like the first one.........................man I wanna own it and watch it again.
Tuesday I packed the kids and myself up and we headed down to Pleasant Grove to hang out with my mate Katie who I served a mission with. We were comps and she barely survived me and still talks to me, which is a bonus to say the least.
We spent most of the day on the couch talking and it was PERFECT after all of the festivities of the last few days. The kids managed to behave ok until they attacked a box with knives and created a HUGE mess of the basement. They cleaned up without argument....................I think they knew they were in trouble. We left shortly after that LOL
That night we hung out as a family and talked and laughed. Those times are my favourite to tell you the truth. I like it when me and my siblings do that back home as well. So many stories come out, it's pretty fun.
Wednesday Grandma decides to take all of the cuzzies bowling down at the local alley. It was all lit up like a disco and I felt like I needed to disco dance but constrained myself.
Masaru wore his Christmas army gears for three days in a row or maybe four. They're in the wash now LOL
He doesn't put his fingers IN the bowling ball......he just THROWS the bowling ball down the lane. It's pretty funny.
Here's the video for it below.
Dad helped Takeshi.
He thought it was pretty fun.
Yuki had a good time as well.
Here's most of the cuzzies at the alley.
It was a fun time.
Then we got some babysitters and went out to Market St Grill for the ADULTS ONLY meal we do every year as a family.
I had the BEST meal man. It was SO GOOD. Best I've had here. Dru had the WORST meal he'd had and sent it back. I felt bad for him but he had half of mine and got some fish and chips instead which he loved.
Dru's brother and his wife.
Dru's mum and dad. We wouldn't do this without them, so thanks guys.
Dru's eldest sister and her husband.
The rat pack on the stairs.
I had a great night.
We came home and brought dessert with us and sat around and ate and talked.
I started having sharp pains though and ended up having a horrible nights sleep.
Things are ok now though.
Thursday I was determined to do nothing as I'd had a horrible night. So Grandma took the kids to Puss in Boots at the dollar flicks while I stayed home with Takeshi and his cuzzie and babysat. It was perfect. I read my book and relaxed for the afternoon in my PJ's and didn't feel an ounce of guilt to say the least.
Dru's parents finally got the internet going and so I spent the night catching up on picture uploading and blogging while Dru hung out with one of his BFF's 'Pugs' for the night.
Friday I got up and got the kids dressed and went out to hang out with my mate from NZ Evette in West Valley for a few hours.
I haven't seen her in a while and it was a really nice visit and the bonus was the kids played together SO WELL. No boxes to cut up so they were good ;)
Evette took our family pic's way back in the summer and due to horrible posting I hadn't ever received them.
So yesterday she found them and gave them to me.
I LOVE them.
Here's her site http://bellaphotographyutah.blogspot.com/ just click on it to see her work.
Here's some of my favourites.
I LOVE this picture of Masaru. He smiles so weird lately that just to capture a REAL smile is a small feat and Evette did it SO WELL. What a cute kid.
Can Yuki take a bad picture?
This is what I wanna know.
Look at how cheeky Takeshi is.
This picture is a great shot that captures his personality.
The family pic.
I LOVE this shot.
Takeshi looks like he'd rather be bowling though LOL
Again Takeshi would rather be bowling ........................
But I love it.
Then a shot of the happy/tired couple.
She really chose a great spot to take the pictures and we couldn't be happier with them. I'm excited to go home, print them out, and put the family shot in the 'family pic' frame we have in the passage way in our house. It'll be nice to replace the other one where I'm the fattest in my ENTIRE LIFE!!
I'm not bitter.
I'm going to replace the kids ones with these as well over our fireplace.
Who knows, maybe I'll print this one of Dru and I and put it somewhere in our bedroom as well.
Which one or ones do you like?
We came home and Dru's Dad was cooking for Shogatsu the next day so I decided to do my mother in laws scrapbook pages I was suppose to have to her for her Christmas present on Sunday.
I printed out some pic's and by midnight got them all done.
I sware next year I'm gonna be SO AWESOME and onto it with my gifts. They'll all be done on time and people will comment on how 'together' I seem to have it LOL
One can set goals right?
Tis the season.
See....................ONE...........GREAT...........WEEK.
I've had the best time.
Love being with family and seeing mates.

Christmas Day
So the rule is the kids have to come and get us before they're allowed to open their presents.
I like to watch them, it's so exciting and Dru feels the same way.
So 6:30am came around and the kids are in our room in our faces telling us to get up.
So we go out and the fiesta begins.
I told them that Santa brings them one gift and so does Mum and Dad. They got a few more though and were excited about that.
Below are a couple of videos of the opening.
I'm glad I got it. I think it'll be fun to watch later on when the kids are older.
You like that book that Yuki's holding in the bottom right corner? LOL They don't use the word 'wee' here so I had to explain to Yuki that wee means pee.
Mum's books she sends are always fun.
Kinda like Walter the farting dog she sent us a few years back. That's always a favourite.
Yuki had a great time opening all her gifts.
Here's the videos below.
Takeshi had a blast opening things.
It was nice cause they didn't rip them all open at once and look for more. They opened one then played and talked about it, then opened another.
It was really relaxed and fun.
Their cuzzies weren't up yet or Dru's parents, so we got a bit more than an hour by ourselves just basking in all our gifts.
It was really, really nice.
Here's Takeshi's video's below.
Dru got a front bumper for his Landcruiser. He already knew though but I also made him a napping T-Shirt with a little race track drawn on the back so when he sleeps the kids can play on his back. It was an idea my mate gave me and I knew I needed to make it for him. Dru loved it and laughed and laughed.
Then I also got him a massage which he used this morning and loved.
Dru would have a massage a week if we could afford it.
I've never had a professional massage before. I bet I'd like it.
Dru was very happy.
I got a scarf, lotion, little sewing kit, the Eragon book series, travel pillow, PJ cozy pants and a fondant cricut cut out machine with three different cartridges.
This means that basically I'll be the cake boss of Boise with the best cupcakes and cakes of ALL TIME.
Oh yeah baby, place your orders now cause the Nakaya's are ready to go.
I was VERY happy to say the least.
We had an AWESOME breakfast that Dru's mum made. Honestly it was SO YUMMY. I can see why she only does it on Christmas morning though..............what a lot of work.
We then went to church where the programme was really good. It was singing mixed with talks and I loved it. The kids were alright as well.
We hung out in the afternoon and played with our stuff and ate.
Then we had dinner as a family and headed out to the Christmas lights at Temple Square.
AWESOME.
Here's the traditional photo infront of the NZ nativity scene that we get every year.
Here's all the cuzzies in one spot together.
All 15 of them and soon to be 16.
I like this shot and will probably print it out and hang it up on the fridge so the kids have a picture of all their Nakaya cuzzies in one spot to look at.
I'm glad we did it.
Then on the way home our kids had a melt down and we put them in bed for the night.
Dru and I stayed up and hung out with his family until we went to bed.
It was a long day but an awesome one.
This Christmas was one of the best I've had.

Christmas Eve
So we arrived in Utah Friday the 23rd in time for dinner.
We hadn't seen Dru's sister and her family all year so it was nice cause they showed up from CA about the same time as us. It was great to see them.
The next day we started on the festivities.
We had our traditional gingerbread making where the kids got to make their sleighs or houses with Grandma. Here's Masaru with his sleigh.
A lot of the kids just sat there and ate the lollies. I'm surprised no one's thrown up these holidays.
Yuki wanted to make a house. Here's Auntie Brooke helping out.
Here's Takeshi making a sleigh. He had a great time.
Most of the cuzzies were there and the others showed up a little later on which ended up being a good thing cause where would've they fit?
Later on they iced sugar cookies which were awesome while Dru and I ran last minute errands cause AGAIN I left my knitting to the last minute and had to scurry for things.
Dru and Kristin helped me make Brooke a black felted purse this time with interchangeable crochet flowers on the front for whatever she's wearing that day.
It turned out pretty good in the end thanks to the combined effort of all three of us and me almost loosing my hair cause I'm a procrastinator.
I need to get a pic of it to put up here I guess. It was just nice to have it done to tell you the truth.
I'm NEVER procrastinating a craft project again for Christmas NEVER.
That's it..............I've learned my lesson.
I'm going to be WAAAAAAAAAAAAY more onto it next Christmas, you watch.
Love Takeshi's face in this shot.
The cuzzies and their finished products.
So later on that night we had the Christmas programme.
My sister in law was in charge of it this year and we watched an awesome video and sang.
It was really nice.
We then moved downstairs and opened cuzzie gifts as well as Grandma's gift..........well Grandma from Utah at least.
Takeshi got a big bird toy and this construction set which has been a huge hit for him.
He loves it.
Yuki got this princess game as well as a pink scooter so she can finally race around the streets with her brother and mates.
She loves both of them.
Masaru got legos, which he loves and made one of them up that night.
Dru was WAAAAAAAAAAAAAY pumped cause he got an AWESOME wok and cleaning stuff. We haven't had a wok in FOREVER because Dru was sick of the 'crap' one we had I guess and chucked it and didn't want another one until it was the RIGHT one.
His sister rang their brother who said 'this is the one he'll want' and he was right.
Dru was ecstatic about it.
He also got a lump of coal from his mother cause I used his cash for his main present for Christmas this year. So he was a little sad but then his sister who shall remain nameless *coughing KRISTIN coughing* TOTALLY BLEW IT and told him that his money went towards the BUMPER I was getting him for Christmas this year.
I was way bummed cause I had this whole thing planned and had printed off this picture of a bumper on a Land Cruiser for him to open blah blah blah.
So yeah.
But he thanked me anyway. It was just earlier than expected.
I got some Christmas socks and cold hard cash as well as these cake tools.
There's a mat to work on as well as a fondant roller, nice and heavy and large, and a fondant cutter with interchangeable designs as well as this scarf.
LOVE IT.
Let the cake making begin baby.
It was a great night.
I LOVED it and loved being with Dru's family.
Because his parents didn't have internet I couldn't ring my family or skype them.
So I was a little bummed.
I always miss my side of the family every year.
Great day and great night.

And it all begins......................
So today Masaru's mate was over for the day to play.
They were playing legos in the livingroom and Yuki comes out.
Masaru's mate was looking at her I guess and Yuki goes 'What are you staring at?'
He replies 'I think you're cute'
To which she replies 'I AM cute'
Then Masaru says 'No way, do you wanna know who's cute? Takeshi when he laughs, come on let's go make him laugh'
And they take off.
LOL
I love Masaru's innocence. LOVE IT.
But wait.....................there's more.
We were over at a mates place tonight.
They have a son who's around 9. I was sitting hanging out and this boy and Yuki asked if they could go outside and look at the stars together.
I said no cause it was too cold.
Then when we were back at the house Yuki said to me 'Mum I really liked that boy tonight, he was really nice to me'
I'm like 'That's nice' while waiting with baited breath to see if she said anything else about boyfriend stuff or 'liking' him, which never came.
THANK GOODNESS.
With Masaru being so oblivious to the opposite sex or any kind of girlfriend/boyfriend crap I wouldn't know where to begin.
I need to start locking Yuki up.
Rapunzel turned out alright..............right?

That's it
That really didn't last long with the fish.
I'm glad it's over but what did we do wrong?
My mate said she doesn't have anything in her tank and her fish are still alive.
Poor Masaru.
Next time we get goldfish for a white elephant gift Masaru's not getting them, I don't think his heart can handle it.
He asked for a snake a couple of weeks ago.
How long do they live?

Yuki (the fish) died
That's right folks, we're down to the last fish.
My Auntie just emailed me and told me goldfish need one of those oxygenated machine things pumping through the water for them to survive.
Well Dru and I aren't going to invest in these 25c fish THAT much so we'll see how strong this one is I guess.
Poor fish.
They never had a chance really did they?
*sniff, sniff*

Takeshi the FISH died.
We just finished flushing him down the loo.
1 down 2 to go baby.
LOL
Wait ...................... Masaru's coming *sniff, sniff* 'poor little fish' (moving head side to side in a slow sad manner) .......;)
I know I'm heading to the C list for this post..................

29 Weeks
So here I am at 29 weeks.
Now we're cooking with gas right?
I'm looking pregnant, I'm feeling pregnant.
The floor is that much harder to get to and things in general are just all a little harder.
Even though it's been a great pregnancy, it's still a pregnancy with life's little hard things to deal with.
I'm starting to get heart burn and need to sleep with pillows under my tummy at night. Last night I even slept with one between my knees.
I'm still sleeping fine though and don't have to get up at all to pee at night which is fantastic.
Since my c-section is a week earlier than my due date I have 10 weeks left. It doesn't sound like much right?
But I'm sure it'll be harder than it looks.
I'm still working out 3 times a week and love doing it. I hope I can get my body back a little faster this time.
We'll see.
She moves around a lot, which is great, and I'm looking forward to having her.
I'm starting to realize we'll have another new born in the house and what that means and if I'm really ready for it you know.
Too late now right?! LOL
It's always a little tough for me, that first year, but it always goes by so fast and I love my babies, I really do, I just wouldn't say I'm a natural and just simply love it 24 hours a day you know.
It's hard for me, but whatever, she'll be great and I have Dru to help, which is a life saver to say the least.
I just would avoid me at all costs for that first 2 weeks and even for the first 3 months really, then come and visit me and be my mate, until then I apologize right now for offending you and have to let you know that that wasn't the real me LOL
Ah pregnancy and new borns, life's blessings right.
Moving onto other news in the Nakaya household.
We had some mates around for dinner the other night and did a white elephant exchange.
One of the most, if not the most awesome gift was 3 goldfish in a jam jar. I couldn't believe it when my mates opened it up.
Well unknown to me Masaru went up to them and swapped Dru's gift with them so HE could be the proud owner of three goldfish.
I thought it was funny until I realized WE'D be the ones who were keeping them.
Then it wasn't so funny.
I've never wanted pets, not even goldfish and it kinda just got dumped on me and Masaru was already attached to them.
He's ALWAYS wanted pets since I can remember and I've always been able to NOT have any..............until now.
So here they are in all their glory. Three goldfish named Masaru, Yuki and Takeshi.
Original right?
I've had a few people tell me they won't last long and my neighbours gave me all their goldfish stuff to use till they die, which was nice of them.
So for now we've got goldfish.
I don't know what we'll do when we go back to Utah for a week?
They'll be dead for sure.
See this is why I don't like pets, we travel for long amounts of time and I hate asking neighbours or mates to take our pets cause I don't wanna take there's, that's for sure.
Now I'm painted into a corner, cause I can't conscientiously kill them.
*sigh*
Stupid fish.

Journal Entry
What are some creative ways you were asked on dates or that you asked someone?
NZ doesn't really date like USA does.
So I never asked anyone on an official date and no one actually officially asked me on one either.
You just ended up casually going on dates.
So this one doesn't really apply to me.
I know, it's surprising I even got married right? I mean never dating or anything.
Dru's an american and he never asked any girls in any kinda creative way to date either, so we were meant to be.
Actually he informed him mate he wasn't going to date anymore as it was a waste of his money.
His exact words were "I'm not wasting my money on someone else's wife"
His mate got upset at him and said "How can you just give up on dating?"
Dru was like "Watch me"
Then met me and we didn't really date right?
His mate was like "How did you do that? Find a wife and totally not date?"
Dru was laughing.
I'm glad he didn't spend his money on another mans' wife either and could keep it to spend on my ring, our new life, our new bed, stuff like this.
So I guess both Dru and I never really dated others or each other and we turned out great.
Maybe dating's for sucka's.

Does this mean................
So does this mean I'm off the A list as a mother?
LOL
Hey man at least I've got a section of my house dedicated to Jesus birth and Christmas right?
That's gotta at least keep me on the B list.

Stressed
So these pictures have nothing to do with my post.
I just need to get them into my blog book.
Takeshi put these glasses on and asked me to take a picture of him with them on (in so many words)
So I did.
He's pretty cute man.
He's sporting a 'Bruce Lee' hair style at the moment. We're calling it that so people don't get confused with it being a mullet.
Yuki got herself dressed this day and asked me to take a picture of her cause she thought she looked really good and wanted it recorded for history.
I couldn't agree with her more. She's simply stunning and I think so daily.
Me?
I'm a little stressed.
Last night I got a headache and today I've had one. I've had like maybe 5 in my entire life.
This month has been too busy for my slow lifestyle I think.
I've got things hanging over my head I need to do that are EXTRA and ONTOP of my household regular chores and I'm not coping too well.
I think if I wasn't pregnant it'd be ok.
If Dru wasn't working full time that'd help LOL
Jokes man jokes I'm grateful for Simplot keeping him busy at the moment.
I can feel myself going into shut down mode and it's dangerous.
I haven't felt like this in a long time.
I usually can keep ontop of my shut down modes you know.
I need to figure something out.
I can't shut down right now, it'd spell disaster.
What should I do?

Journal Entry Sixty
What were you involved in when you went to High School?
Collage with a Theme
Decide on an idea: people, pretty hair, pets, cartoons, spacemen, automobiles and so on. Then look through old magazines and cut out pictures that illustrate the idea. Arrange pictures on coloured construction paper-overlapping some, putting others at an angle - and paste down with white glue. Or arrange and glue photo's on a wooden board, like plywood. Let dry one hour and coat with clear shellac or varnish for a professional look.

Latest in Japan
Of course I cried watching this video and am so happy Dru and his father went to help.
I have to put a plug in as a kiwi and point out that EVEN THOUGH NZ still had disaster clean up to do in Christchurch they were STILL PRESENT in helping Japan.
That's right.........New Zealand rocks.............and Japan................and a few other countries ;)
Even though the beginning is tragic the end is sweet, so try to get through it.
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth
So this second tooth held on for a couple of days.
It's a pity it wasn't Halloween, he totally could've made a great Hillbilly with that one weird front tooth.
It was half out but the other half that was in was holding on for dear life and I guess it hurt too much for him to just yank it.
So we told him to twist it.
He'd get to a certain spot though and wince in pain and twist it back.
Honestly I've never seen such a stubborn tooth.
He asked me to get it out but I was a bit woozy from looking at it and so had to call Dru in.
He wanted to use the pliers but Masaru wouldn't let him so had to use his fat fingers on this small tooth.
He said 'Ready, ready...........' and just yanked on it and it popped right out.
I totally heard it and almost fainted.
I knew medicine wasn't the field for me.
No blood this time, so it was ready.
Now no top teeth.
Remember how that felt?
I remember it being awesome.
None of his other teeth are loose.
It'll be interesting to see how these two teeth come in. I'm actually a little scared to tell you the truth.
The Dentist said he had teeth like his father and Dru's teeth were horrific.
Poor Masaru, why couldn't he have teeth like his mother?
No braces, great smile, next to no cavities.
It usually doesn't work like that though.
Let's hope the kids get my eye sight.
Dru and his bad genes............................
So the tooth fairy came again last night and he went to school excited for his second eraser of the week from his reading teacher.
This might be it for a while now.
Thank goodness, I don't think my stomach could take much more.
Who knew I was such a wimp!

Information that would've been good YESTERDAY!!
So today in sacrament our kids behaved.
There were no time out visits, not tantrums, no fights.....just quiet little children who behaved well and sat still.
I know what you're thinking and NO there were no drugs involved thanks.
The Stake guy on the stand even came up to us and commented on what a lovely family we have and he just had to tell us.
NO ONES EVER DONE THAT BEFORE PEOPLE ..............no one!
Wanna know the trick? And hopefully it'll keep working .............. (right now I'd like you all to cross your fingers for us for this next and up coming Sundays)
THEIR VERY OWN, PERSONALLY PICKED OUT, CHURCH BAGS!!!!
Since church doesn't start till 12:30pm we had them choose things they wanted for that day and got them their very own bags and pencil cases.
Worked like a charm!
Who knew right?
Look at us like sucka's only bringing one bag to church for the kids to fight over like crazy people.
I wish someone would've told us this little trick A LONG TIME AGO.
Thanks all you mother's who have it together at church for NOT SHARING YOUR SECRET.
Well it's outta the bag and I'm sharing it with all, cause that's the kinda person I am.
And guess what?
No one told us WE FIGURED IT OUT ON OUR OWN.
Well Dru thought of it, but I executed it, so that counts right?
Oh yeah baby.
Best parents ever...........right here.
We're back on the A list.
And right before Christmas.
Dear Santa,
Since I'm an awesome mother, can I please have a 2012 Sienna?
Love Milz xx

Something happened
WARNING: If you don't like blood, just move it along people, nothing to see here.
Masaru's two top teeth have been loose for quite some time.
We're always trying to convince him to pull them out.
Nothing.
Then he comes home and says that his reading teaching gives an eraser to kids who've lost teeth.
All of a sudden he's wiggling it like a mad man.
He came out last night with it looking like this.................ALMOST out.
See how they're like a grey colour?
Yeah they're totally dead, but it's all a little scary I guess.
Thanks to his teacher for giving him the motivation though. It's about time these teeth were out.
Check out that wiggle room {above}
He came out twice last night showing us but nothing in the end.
He didn't want us to 'take over' so he eventually went to sleep.
While doing some homework this morning he comes up to me and says 'Mum it's out'
And here it is in all it's glory.
Hands up who likes that dried on milk mustache from earlier on, on his face?
There she is.
All prepped for the tooth fairy tonight.
It's about time man.
Here's the money shot right here.
How do you like those apples?
LOL
Love you bub.
