TOA rugby tournament

Great tournament this season. They did so great. Won four and lost two. They did amazing.
Look at all of this love and support from his Nakaya Wahanau ♥️♥️♥️

Look how hot he looks 😂

Great group of boys.
His really good buddy Tucker got a gash on his head and we took him to the ER. He was a total trooper. Such a wonderful kid. I’m glad he’s Masarus friend.
Masaru went around swapping shirts with people. Here he is with one dude. Pretty fun for him.
Boys being boys. Bunch of posers.

Family time

Simplot let us see the local baseball team play. So we did. Super fun. Yuki invited Susie. It was a good night.
Beautiful sunset.

Emiko and Kellen drew this car together.
Cool shot the kids got of us at the baseball game.
I made these cupcakes which is a family favorite 🤩
Dru went to a work party and got second in the ax throwing competition. He was pumped.
And I made some jam with our raspberries we grew. Awesome right?

Masaru

Cute video masaru made of himself working on his bike.

Admiring his hair.

He decided to bike off of the cliff on red cliffs while he was coaching his bsu kids with his buddy Ben. Here’s the video.

Here’s the results.

Stanley rafting

We helped out a little with Dave’s projects.

We got in contact with Heather and Dave and said we wanted to pop in and see them in our way back. They were happy to see us. It was nice of them.
They let us ride on the raft together which was epic.
Masaru ride on his own which he did great in.

So did Dru. He loved it too.
Yuki loved reading
We loved the view.

And we all had a great time together on the raft.

It was a great last leg of our summer break together. Such a great trip.

Ideal camp spot

So we slowly started making our way back down Idaho to Stanley where we decided to visit Dave and Heather.
With the van it’s easy now just to find a spot cause we’re all inside.
So we found this amazing spot just off of the side of the road where we parked and enjoyed ourselves. Here’s Masaru basking in the sunshine.
The sky that night was amazingly beautiful so I tried to capture it.

Our camp spot.
I collected wood and stones to make some mobiles for around the house. I still haven’t done it but really want to. I find myself loving the simple small things and wanting to be creative. I loved it here and being with each other so much.

Beautiful hike

So we decided to do a hike to this beautiful view since we were sad we couldn’t go to Glacier. This hike didn’t disappoint with its view.
Emiko and I decided to go the easier route cause someone told us that there was a quicker steeper route.
Turns out that that was false and led you nowhere. So Dru and the other three were led on a wild goose chase.
But it turned out to be ok because there was an old man who’d took the same route and wasn’t doing well. So Dru and the kids rescued him and brought him all the way back down the trail.
So Emiko and I made it there first and waited while the others came up after their rescue mission.
Isn’t it just beautiful?

The hike up there was beautiful as well.
I can’t do it justice with my sub par photos sorry.

We found someone to take some shots.

We were happy.

Emiko fed the wildlife once we got to the top.
