47th

My bday was great. Dru got back from India and surprised me with getting Yuki to grab him. Kk caught it on camera which was nice. He brought me some wonderful flowers. 

This is the cutest card ever that I got from Emiko. I loved it so much. 

When I woke up the kids had done this for me on the white board which was super sweet. 

I got cards and chocolates. 

I got a lot of beautiful plants that I love. 

Yuki made me this vase at ceramics. I love it and put Drus flowers in it.

We went for a walk around the river. It was nice to just be together.

Funny meme about Mother’s Day which also was a good day. I just hung out with the kids. 

 Glad to be alive and my body feels well. Glad for my blessings and for family and friends. I have a wonderful life that I’m thankful for always. 

Odds and Ends

Yukis friend Kk had surgery and so we did a little care package for her. It was cute. I’m glad yuki has her. 

Kk was over at our house and took this picture of Dru and I hugging. I love it. 

These guys did their last performance in choir. Pretty cute. I’m glad they’re friends. Charlie is always really kind. 

Masaru taught the lesson and fell asleep while teaching the lesson. So that’sa first for me. I’ve never seen anyone fall asleep while teaching. Have you?

Takeshi and I hanging out after school like we always do. I like our time together. 

I love that he still has his mullet and hasn’t conformed. I dunno how long he’ll keep it.

This top one because I have a problem with this so it made me laugh. Then this bottom one I imagine is us and life and being knocked down and getting up and carrying on with the help of soo many protecting us. 

 Rachelle taught a lesson in relief society and shared this picture with us of Jesus helping us with our yoke. The longer I look at it the more I like it. It was a good lesson. 

Different bball team for yuki.

Yuki played basketball for a different team this off season. She played for Ike Stafford who is our good friend. She had a good season with him and it was good for her to play. I’m glad she got to play with other girls. 

She’s been working hard with Derrick as well. So hopefully that pays off. 

 

Prom number two

So our friends from Utah asked if yuki and her friend would come and go with their boys to prom. Soo yuki said she would. Super nice of her. 

They’re our friends who used to live here in Boise. We are them a couple of times a year. So it was good to hang out. 

It was a quick trip down but a really fun time. Yuki had a great time with AUSSIE and said the prom was fun. 

It was nice she already had everything from the other prom so it wasn’ta big deal. 

Susie and her have been friends since they were around five. So that’s pretty special. 

 

Emiko crushed it In shot put

Emiko did track this season and did really well and had fun. 

She tried a bunch of things. But she did really well in shot put. 

She made it all the way through to city and came 5th. It is pretty amazing. 

Here she is with her award. Super proud of her.
