Puggs cabin Presidents weekend 2022

Puggs cabin was good this year, as always. I just miss the Maxwell’s being up there, terribly. Here’s Stacey, Kim and I snowshoeing. It’s so beautiful out there. I love it.

Turned out to be a great weekend. We’re just about to go again in a little over a week. I’m like a year behind and can’t catch up 😂 

Valentines, pretzels and snow.

 

I made pretzels and they turned out amazing. I got a sourdough starter and made these with that. The family loved them. Masaru was doing a fundraiser for rugby so we sold these for money and got quite a bit. So that was great.

So someone at Timberline decided to key Masarus car,  well our car. Dru and I were so upset. They have cameras. So we complained and got the cop involved and that dude was useless and basically did nothing and said they couldn’t find anyone on the camera.  It’s like  “why the hell do you jokers have cameras if you can see crap like this?” I felt so violated  AND they came and did the other side the next day. So TWO opportunities to find the culprit and nothing.  Freakn useless mate. So nothing happened and the truck still looks like this to this very day. Stupid kids.

Jo and I snow weekend

 

Jos been busy and we hadn’t seen much of each other. So we went away for the weekend. It was nice.

Out snowshoeing together. Man it was an adventure. I loved it. It was beautiful. 

We went to the hotpools as well and it was so amazing. It’s just what we needed. I love hotpools so much. But I get cold. 

It was nice to be with Jo. 

Skiing and knitting.

 

So I decided to sign up and get ski lessons. It was ok. But turns out I’m super petrified so I dunno if it’ll happen. I needed to learn young. I’m glad my kids are learning young. It’s the only way. 

Takeshi did this with all my stuff and was way proud of it. 

I was busy doing a bunch of knitting. I havnt some much this winter. I need to. 

I made a wallet for a few of my friends. I love it.

Takeshi went in and got his teeth done with braces. He’s had them almost a year now and the difference is astounding. He’s a good brace face. He does what he’s told and looks after his teeth pretty well. It was sore for him though. 

Emiko always has a tough time with Dru and I go out on a date. Here she is letting us know her thoughts about our date that Friday night. This is why it’s hard for me to leave. Mum guilt mate. Dru doesn’t have it though. So that’s good. So we leave.
