Fun with dress ups

So I reorganized the toys, kinda, and put the blocks and dress up clothes in the one box. The kids discovered them today. So here's what they did with them.
Masaru built a cool tower.
Then tried to fit into a 12 to 24 month outfit.

Tried to squeeze his cute tush into this 2 year old outfit.

Then proceeded to get Takeshi into it. I think it'll be just right by this Halloween.


Looks just right for Yuki.
Then I walked into this scene and about peed my pants.
He looks like a 'slash' wannabe from Guns'n'Roses.
He started freaking out about it. Poor kid.

What a good sport.
I can't stop laughing at these pic's of him though. He just looks so funny with that wig on.
Notice how none of the other two are wearing this wig?
Yeah it's cause they're scared of it.
Poor Takeshi, he's gonna have middle child syndrome for sure.

Failing as the next sumo

I thought it was cute that he had a grubby face and now I'm spewing I didn't clean him up cause I got some nice shots of him. Oh well. Anyone wanna edit them for me?
Takeshi went for his 9 month check up today and got two shots.
I sound like I'm talking about a dog.
Look at that cute little button nose man. His hair looks like the wind is blowing it forward.
Of course Yuki had to get into the shots. Takeshi can't have all the limelight.
Good luck with that Takeshi.

Anyway he's still not crawling. So I gotta get onto that. He's not saying anything that you can understand. He doesn't pull himself up onto stuff and stand for too long against things. So I came out of the doctor's office a little down about it all.
He's just so cute and the doctor straight up asked me "Melissa, do you baby him?" I'm like "Hey does that computer tell you to ask that? Or are you just asking man to woman styles?"
He just started laughing but I had to think.
Do I baby him? In a way yes, and in another way no. So I need to start doing better with him.

Anyway the reason for the title is that he came in 90th percentile for height at 29.5 inches. Head is 45th percentile, but wait, wait his weight is 40th percentile at 19.94 lbs.
IS THAT CRAZY OR WHAT?
You should see his legs. They're like tree trunks. He's a lump man. I asked the doctor who these sumo's were that were coming into the office to make Takeshi under average?
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT.
Those who've seen him, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?
They must've gotten it wrong but I was there when she weighed him.
Where are all these fat babies? I thought for sure Takeshi would be like 75th to 90th. UNDER AVERAGE.
Now I'm panicking slightly with his meals etc. But you should see him. He's not starving man.
So we're not gonna be in sumo training just yet as apparently there are more than HALF the population of boy babies who could be training over Takeshi.
Sorry bub, maybe next time.

For Grandma

Masaru does a daily journal. This is what he said the day after Grandma and Grandpa Pete left.
He drew the rainbow car going down the driveway away from out apartment.
I thought I'd post this for mum.
He's doing well with his sentences. Today he wrote in his journal himself no help from me.
It was 'I like my haircut'. Ok well he got help with haircut but he can do I like my.......which is good.

Fire sale

This is what Dru thinks when I get rid of stuff, 'uh oh there's a fire sale about to happen.'
Sometimes I get on a rampage and just get rid of things. It's good, cause clutter is our enemy right?
I sorted through all the kids toys and got three rubbish bags full to give to the Salvation Army.
I hope there's some kids out there who love them as much as my kids have.
Next stop, my jewlery and Yuki's ribbons.

Begging

We've always got food in the cupboards.
I always feed my kids.
Do they look starving to you?
I cook them great meals, make them great lunches, give them drinks whenever they need them.

So why oh why was Yuki upstairs knocking on our mates door with paper plates in her hands, this morning, begging them for food?
Just to embarrass me?
Who knows.
I'm just glad they didn't give her anything, then it'd be all on.

It reminds me of a cat we used to have that, when we rented a house from friends, when I was a kid, stayed at the house with us and we looked after it. The previous owners of the cat moved across the street. The street was a busy one though, but the cat would cross the road and get fed not only by us but by them as well.
Guess what happened to that cat in the end?
