Rugby 7's tournament in Utah

 

So we headed down to Masaru's rugby 7's tournament in Utah for his U16 team. We stayed with Dru's parents and family and friends came to support him. It was a really nice and hot weekend. We were super grateful for all the support we got from friends and family. Here is Jared and his family. Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of all the family that came and watched, which is a total bummer cause Masaru really appreciated it.

Emiko was happy to catch up with Chris of course.

Masaru's team did well.  They had six games and won 3 and lost three.

He scored a try and it was a beauty. We got a video of it below.

It was a really nice weekend with family and friends.

Floating the river with mates

 

Look at these beautiful kids about to float the river. Life jackets on and ready to go.

We went with the Bleazards and had a great time. Yuki came with Aria as well and you can see me in the front on my own raft.

Takeshi took the little canoe and had a great time.

Here they are jumping off the orange bridge.

We packed them all up and got them in the back of the truck ready to go home. It's always fun to float the river and it was awesome to be able to do it with some of our very best mates, the Bleazards.

Yuki went out with the Brede's while we were in Iceland and had a fun time with them. We love their family and are always sad they're gone.

Glad these guys have been friends for so long.

Yuki also is crushing it at work and learning new things. Although I think she's over it and won't work again in this job hahaha

BFF's

Masaru got a sweet haircut before his rugby seven's tournament. 

Yuki and I took her friend on a hike up tablerock.

Susan gave us a giftcard to go out to dinner one night as well. So so had to document it to say thankyou for her kindness and sending us money to go out as a family. That's an expensive thing for sure. 

Emiko had a playdate with Stella and had a wonderful time. These two have been friends for a while now.

We went out to the lake and had a great time with friends.

Then we had this awesome fire where it was all different colours.
