Temple, friends, warmth and travel

 

We’re trying to go to the temple and do baptisms once a month with the kids. I like it and hopefully the kids do too. We always get a picture afterwards outside the temple. Here’s Takeshi and I. 

Here’s all my awesome Christmas cards from the season. I love them so much. 

I took Emiko and Claire out to pizza one night. These two have a great time together.

Dru went to Dubai for work. It was for one day but he got what needed to be done done. So he was happy about that. He sent these beautiful pictures of this view over there. 

I always miss him when he leaves us. 

These were my miles for 2021. I was pumped about getting my goals. 

I make these cute cards for people and I love them so much.

Christmas 2021 Utah

 

We went down to Utah for Christmas 2021. It was nice to be with family. We had Christmas Eve up at Ryan and Les house and it was a great place to do it. 

We had Brooke and she made the kids all quilts. They were beautiful. Here is Yukis one.

We watched this movie one night and it was pretty epic.

Brooke made me a quilt jacket. But it was the wrong colour for my skin and too short in the torso. I’ve realized I have a long torso. So a lot of tops are too short. Hopefully it’ll go to a good home where someone can love it. 

Taking naps is a good holiday thing to do.

Christmas Day was great as always. Dru did an amazing job of gifts and the kids were happy. I wish I got pictures of the set up and what they got. Oh well. 

Here’s one of my gifts Dru got me. Isn’t it so epic!!! I’ve worn it so much this year for lots of things. Such a great gift. 

Christmas is always great with family and this one was no exception. Greatful for Drus family and how kind they are to us always.

So this is the white elephant gift I came out with. These cool PJ’s. Masarus ex gf Halle, her parents invited us to their one. Nick and Kim Smith. It was ok. It was with a bunch of people we don’t really know, so it was semi awkward but whatever. It was a fun night. 

We got gifted these treats from one of our friends and now I forget who because it was over a year ago. I think it was one of Drus mates. Cute. 

Dru and I won the ticket lottery and got front and center row tickets to watch Hamilton for around $20. It was spectacular. I’m so glad we went. Du realized that in another life he wants to be a stage set builder. I wish her could have his dream. Maybe one day.

Emiko’s Christmas Choir performance

 

So Emiko had been working for a few months with the city choir. They did a Christmas performance that we attended. They gave her a uniform and everything. It was great and we were proud to go and support Emiko this night. 

We went with the Bleazards so extra bonus for having mates there. 

Here we all are having dinner afterwards. 

We got Emiko flowers. 

They had to wear masks which was dumb.

It was a nice night as a family. She’s not with them anymore as she’s in the school

choir, but she had a great time.
