So amongst the craziness of life, I'm also the President of these (+ double) young girls. With help of other wonderful women, we seem to be managing. I'm not sure how great we're doing but I'm doing my best and so it'll have to do.
My second councilor is on the left in the sunglasses. Sarah.
Amy, my first councilor, and I getting into the picture.
We decided to skip the Wednesday night activity for this week and head up to our friends cabin in Cascade for the night.
Some of the girls had volleyball and so we decided to leave later on, which was just fine by me. We didn't get to the cabin until around 10ish and all stayed up and talked till around 1am. I figured I would've gone to bed, but turns out adults like to chat as well.
The next morning we got up, had some breakfast and headed out on this hike to Goose creek falls. It's the same one Dru and I and the kids did a few weeks back.
Boy had it changed. The water was way down and it wasn't nearly as green. Here I was hyping them all up and then it'd changed so much!!!
Oh well.
Look at how little water there was this time.
Here are the two men that came with us. They were great and we were grateful for their help.
Sweet and innocent?
Gansters?
Young and old-er.
We needed a selfie stick.
This time we walked all the way around to see more of the falls. I bet 6 weeks ago this would've been so beautiful. It was still great though.
I'm glad I didn't take the kids down here though, it's steep and rocky and a little dangerous. I forbid the girls from going all the way down because I foresaw some falling in the future and thought it best to refrain.
We hiked back and the girls struggled a little with the climb out. I kept telling them to drink and that it was good for them to push themselves. They did great.
We got back, had lunch, cleaned up and left.
We got back to the girls parents by around 4pm.
It was really nice and I'm glad we did it and am grateful for those who came and helped.
Dru had be wrangling the kids with the help of mates for soccer, mathnasium and general pick up, clean up of the house.
The Allblacks were playing France in rugby and we purposefully stayed away from social media to not see how the game went.
We headed to our mates place to watch the game.
Dru went to law school with Chyenne and her mother is on the left. They have us over, periodically, and are so good to us. We love hanging out with them.
The Allblacks took France to school man and taught them how the big boys played.
France got absolutely pummeled and it was a pleasure to watch.
NZ is looking strong man. I don't wanna get to cocky, but they're looking amazing. So we'll see how it all pans out.
We also watched Wales vs Sth Africa game which Sth Africa won. Wales totally could've won it and didn't. I was disappointed.
Then Argentina played Ireland and totally won which was awesome.
Then Aussie played Scotland and with some pure Aussie luck they won by one point. My heart was sad for Scotland, they fought really well and were snaked at the end. Aussie didn't look good at all, which just made me even more confident in the Allblacks. I know you can't count Aussie out, but after watching the quarter finals man, it seems like the Allblacks have it in the bag.
Stranger things have happened though so let's see how it all pans out I guess.
So NZ play Sth Africa in the semi's and Aussie play Argentina in the other semi. I really think Argentina can beat Aussie, which would be amazing man, cause Aussie and all of Australia are pretty confident they'll make it to the finals with NZ and take us. Pretty laughable to be confident after this weekend if your an Aussie though. I love it when NZ feeds them humble pie!!!
It's never good to go into a game confident though, always gotta never count out the other team and play hard, which is what the Allblacks will do.
If we win this it'll be the first country to go back to back wins and the country with the most wins in the world cup.
I'm so pumped man. I'm loving this world cup, if you can't already tell.
We also got our pictures taken by our good mate Natalie. So I'm excited to see those.
We just got individual pictures. I like our family one from last year and wanna keep it for one more year. So the kids got their pictures done and Dru and I just for luck. Watch this space.

She's way too cheap for how amazing she is, so you should all jump on the chance to have her be your photographer.
And then as a random 'throw in' here's a picture of my cousin's kids, Jack and Ginny. So are they my second cuzzies? What are they to my kids? Maybe they're my first cuzzies once removed and they're my kids second cuzzies? Who knows this? It doesn't even matter anyway, they're cuzzies.
Cute right?
So It's my Auntie Maree and John's son, Chris' kids. I'll give everyone a few seconds to compute.
How cute are these guys in their uniforms? I remember Jack at my brothers wedding having a great time with the Polynesian drums. He's got rhythm in him that kid.
I'm tired and slightly stressed with all I have to do the rest of the year. I'm doing the best I can with everything but it seems like a lot to keep up with. I hope I don't break.
