Boys will be Boys

So at the back of our house is a driveway with garages to peoples places, it's like a through street.
There's constructions going on back there and it's been like heaven on earth for Masaru.
Here he is getting all the lastest on the progress of the workers.
For the last 3 journal entries he's writtien about these workers.
#1 I am watching the workers
#2 The workers are working
#3 The new road is built
I wonder if he'll write something different today?

Anyway here are some shots, I've even numbered them for you, of Masaru going back and forth from corner to corner of our back yard to watch the workers working and the new road being built.

I love boys, they seem less complicated!!

Guilty

So Masaru got this duck for a baby shower gift from my school I taught at here in the states.
He's had it it whole life.
It's not his favourite, by any means, and so when I was getting rid of toys in Moscow I got rid of that duck, to a second hand store.
Fast forward about 5 months to around TODAY, Masaru comes up to me and asks where 'ducky' is.
I have a faint memory coming back to me of getting rid of it, so lie and say 'I dunno bub'
He then proceeds to tell me how much he misses him and has been sobbing in his room for the last 10 minutes.
He'll come out every now and then and play with us, then run back into the room and sob for a while.

I'm remembering haunting flashbacks of me 'loosing' my womble toy, which I had at birth, only to find out YEARS later that my mother thought it was nasty and burnt it and lied to me and said she didn't know where it'd gone.

I swore right then and there I'd NEVER do that to my kids, like EVER.

Ducky wasn't a favourite, I never BURNED ducky, he's with some other kid having a great time right?

So why do I feel mass amounts of guilt right now while Masaru's in the back room sobbing about how much he misses duckie?

Damn it.
Does this mean I can NEVER THROW OUT ANOTHER TOY AGAIN?
Just in case Masaru FIVE MONTHS LATER remembers we don't have it?  And then cries and makes me feel like the wicked witch of the west?

Maybe..........
Probably............
Crap...............

UDATE:  So Masaru's doing better cause Yuki told him it must be at Grandma's house.
He asked me if I thought it was still at Grandmas?
I said 'Maybe'
Am I going straight to hell?

Who likes the hospital?

So my mate just had a baby.
Another mate just announced she's pregnant with twins and only been married 5 years LOL
I can't stop laughing about it, I'm sick, I know.

Anyway so all this baby talk has got me thinking about something.
My mate tonight said on the phone that she couldn't WAIT to get OUT OF the hospital.

I've got a few other mates who feel the same way as well.

I don't understand it.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my stay in the hospital with my new born.
Like LOVE it.
And cause I have c-sections I get to stay for FOUR WHOLE DAYS AND NIGHTS.

But the more women I talk to the more I hear about how they can't WAIT to get home.

I'm starting to get a complex.
Am I abnormal?
Hang on, don't answer that................

I LOVE my stay at the hospital cause it's just all about me man.
I get fed, looked after, I don't have to tidy or look after anyone but ONE baby.
I can snuggle that one baby and totally focus on it instead of a MILLION OTHER things when I'm at home.
I get help at nights with the nurses and get some sleep.
A couple of people visit me (I wish it was more but no one likes to visit me in the hospital I guess) which I love the company.
Dru and I get to hang out and talk and not worry about stuff.
It's when I get home that all the stress comes into it.

Tidying, dinners, kids, drop offs, pick ups, play dates, sleepless nights.

I don't understand why these women are so eager to get home.
Unless they had horrible experiences at the hospital!!
Maybe their hospitals sucked.
Maybe their kids don't do well without them.
My kids do BETTER without me LOL

So who LIKES the hospital stay?
Anyone?
Or is it just me?
Who can't wait to get OUT OF THERE?
Why?

Wolves

My kids eat like wolves up until around 4:30pm and then aren't hungry anymore.
I mean honestly, I hear the words "I'm hungry" more than any other phrase the ENTIRE DAY.

Masaru can sometimes eat 3 bowls of cereal, a yogurt, toast, milk, muesli bar and THEN at 10am ask me for more.
Then he can eat fruit, crackers, sandwhich without blinking.
THEN he'll eat again at 11:40 before his kindergarten.
They get snacks there, then he'll eat again after school, then will eat all his dinner AND have some ice cream.
Is this normal?
I mean he's not fat.

Yuki will eat tons as well.  All at inconvenient times, however.
She won't eat all her breakfast but then will come back and be able to eat a bunch at around 10am then she'll eat a little lunch but be hungry at around 2pm and eat a bunch and then again at 4pm and eat NOTHING for dinner.
I'd skip breakfast when she wakes up and just feed her at 10 when she's REALLY hungry but breakfast is the FIRST THING she asks for when she wakes up, only to NOT eat it.
It might be just habbit maybe.

Takeshi will eat whatever you give him, whenever until he's full.

I just let them eat as much as they want when they want.

Except Yuki, if she doesn't eat her cereal in the morning, when she tells me she's hungry at 10am she has to eat that soggy gross cereal before I'll give her anything else.
Sometimes she's so hungry she'll do it to get more food.
Is that bad?

I'm not too sure what I"m going to do once we're off food stamps.
And my kids are only 5 3 and 1, THEY'RE NOT EVEN TEENAGERS YET.

Since reading that 'eating' book I've let my kids kinda eat whatever and whenever and turns out they want TONS more than what you'd think.
It's really interesting man.
I still don't let them have ice cream if they haven't eaten they're dinner though, cause if they're not hungry for dinner, they're certainly not hungry for ice cream!!
I'm not naive.

School Attendance

I received a newsletter from Masaru's school telling me about attendance.
I found this part the most interesting part.
It goes as follows......

Vacation Plans
It's tempting to pull your kids from school for a family trip, but it's a bad idea.
It is?  What the hell!  And here I was thinking that spending time together was the most important part of being a family, especially with how busy life gets and if Dad happens to get some time off of school or work.
Alright............go on.

Why? First, it gives your children the impression that their schooling is not your top priority.
Their schooling isn't my top priority though.
There's a few things that are more important to me, concerning my kids than their public school education.
So I can still take them on the trip then?
And when they miss classwork, even if you ask for make-up work to be sent home ahead of time, they can fall behind because they're missing many hours of instructional time each day.
Ahhhhhh I'm not sure about these MANY HOURS of instructional time each day.
According to the statistics that I've read my child is only really getting around an hour of instructional time.
He's at Kindy 2 1/2 hours and there's recess, so my best guess is around maybe 1 MAYBE 1.5 hours of instructional time each day AT BEST.
My child isn't slow of learning either.
So I highly doubt that missing a week, EVEN TWO WEEKS of school is NOT going to affect his learning in the system and make him fall THAT MUCH behind that he can't catch up.
Instead of thinking of how you can miss the crowds by taking trips during the school year, thing about what it could be costing your child in the long run.
Hmmmmmmmm alright well let's weigh this up, so staying in Boise instead of going to NZ to visit family or watch the world rugby cup, feeding pigs, helping Grandma in the garden, watching Polynesian culture dances, eating different food, playing with cuzzies, learning about New Zealand and the animals there WILL PUT MY KID BEHIND IN THE SYSTEM?
Get serious.
The amount of things that Masaru learned over this summer of adventuring across the country far outweighs 2 weeks of missed public school.

I realize that Masaru and I may be acceptions and there probably are parents who abuse this or have kids that need to be at school.
But that's not me, and not us.
I know they have to write this for those kinda parents, so this is why I found it funny, thought I'd blog it, then throw the letter out and continue to trust Dru and myself to do what's best for our children!!

Dru and I had a good laugh at this.
Thanks Masaru's school, nothing like a good laugh.

Don't get me started about what it said about knowing when your child is sick.

Private Journal Blog

Ok, so here's the deal.
I was thinking about the question for tomorrow and I was then thinking 'I'm not sure if I want this to be public, but I don't care if my mates see, so how can I work around this?'
So I'm gonna start a private blog JUST FOR MY JOURNAL entries that are personal for me AND MY MATES but not for the world.
Super personal ones will be on my PRIVATE PRIVATE one and INFORMATION ones like 'Where was I born' will be on the MATES ONLY PRIVATE BLOG and then ones that aren't revealing about location etc will be on my normal Kiwi and Eagle one.
Does this all makes sense?

Sooooooooooo I was wondering if you'd like to join me?  On my MATES ONLY blog?
If you'd like to be able to read my posts then you can email me OR leave me a comment with your email and I'll invite you.

Alright, let's get blog serious

So I discovered these questions, 365 to be exact, AND if you answer them ALL you would've done you're own personal history journal or something close to it.

I've started my own memories so I can have this for my kids.
You've all been a part of them, but they're sporadic at the best of times.
I need to designate a day where I just do them, otherwise they'll never be done.
So I thought if I committed to this IN PUBLIC then I'd be more likely to do it, you know.

I don't need to tell all of you how important it is to keep a journal.
I would LOVE to have a journal of my mum's experiences as a young mother with 7 crazy kids and how she handled that.
It'd be priceless to me.
But I don't.

We have scripture because great people did as the Lord asked and kept records.
We have knowledge of history because people wrote in their journals and have experiences recorded for us to learn and grow from.

I don't think there's a person out there that would disagree that a journal is one of the only ways that our children will be able to continue to get to know us and feel our presence, once we're gone.

I print out my blog every year, so my kids have a 'Journal' of the year of events.
I would love for them to also have little bits and pieces of history about Dru and I.

So, my point is, I'm going to designate FRIDAYS as Journal Day for me and invite you all to join me in your Family History recordings so that there's something out there that is personal to you.

Now I don't expect you to blog it to the world.
Some of the topic's are personal and you might now want all of us knowing some deep secrets or thoughts on some experiences.

So start a private journal.
Dru and I have one that I print out every year as well.
It's personal stuff for Dru and I and the kids.

I'm going to try and force Dru to participate starting with simply asking and them moving onto more guilt tactics!!!

I'm sure he'll do most of his in his private journal but WHO CARES.
The point is we NEED TO BE DOING SOMETHING so our children know SOMETHING about our childhood and about WHO WE ARE and HOW WE TICK right?

No pressure, I'll still be your mate if you don't participate, however sometimes it only takes someone doing it with us, to get us motivated to do something we normally wouldn't right?
Like eat right, exersize blah blah blah.

Who's with me?

Here we go JOURNAL FRIDAY. Let's begin.
Topic for tomorrow........................

Where were you born? Describe what the place was like at the time.

Get your thinking hats on ladies (and two men who read my blog) and let's have some fun journaling together.

I've put a little Journal Friday's link on my side bar under the picture of 'The Lot of Us'
Every week I'll put up the topic for that Friday so you can be thinking about it all that week.
I know, nice of me right?

Upping the anti

So I was putting Dru's clothes away when I discovered this hiding in the draw.
What is it? You ask.
Well it's Masaru's swim goggles.
What are they doing in there? You ask again.
I told Masaru if I saw them on the floor again I was going to throw them out.
So I threw them out.
Much to my surprize, however, I find them here a few days later.
Looks like Masaru has found them (he regularly checks the rubbish for me throwing his stuff away) and hidden them in a spot that's 'safe' from mum's grasp.

Little does he know I wash and put away his father's clothes.
No where's safe from me Masaru, but at least they're not on the floor.

Yuki turns three

It was Yuki's birthday today and she turned three.
She wanted a Dora cake. So that's what we made her.
Dru and I tag teamed again to make this cake.
Dru loves helping with the cake and is a really good person to have on your 'cake' team.
I did the cup cakes below.
These were red velvet with cream cheese.
All from scratch.
It makes it risky cause they could turn out crap from scratch or better than anything.
I was willing to take that chance today.
We had pizza, fruit and veges.
Good combo I reckon.
Then the cake and cupcakes.
Here's Yuki opening her gifts.
There's our mates kid getting all pumped about the gift he'd brought for Yuki.
Thanks guys.
Auntie Brooke got her some games.
Auntie Kristin a Dora DVD and cute necklace.
Grandma from NZ got her some chocolates, a mug and T-shirts.
Thanks Mum.
Auntie Les got her this cool block puzzle that can do 6 different puzzles.
What a great idea.
Grandma (Utah) got her some books and this cute doll, which Masaru was pretty excited about.
I think the siblings have a rough time when it's another siblings birthday.
Today Masaru was asking when his birthday is, when is he getting presents.
He was also all over Yuki's presents, trying to open them and playing with them.
Oh well, I tried to explain it was AGES away.
Poor Masaru.
Takeshi just played in the sea of paper and was loving it.

Fantastic night with good mates.
We missed out mates that couldn't come and family here and across the world.
But that's life right?

Yuki was very spoiled, thanks guys.

We sure love Yuki and love having her be a part of our family.
I'm so blessed to have a girl.
She said the coolest things to me and gives me more hugs than what you think.
She loves to read with me and help me tidy, cook, and look after Takeshi.
She's my favourite girl.

Love you bub.

And the winner is...............

http://www.random.org/

I went to this website and put the numbers 1 to 16 (Jade commented twice by mistake) and hit the generate button and number 15 was the first number to appear.
So the winner from the 'voting for my bro's kid' blog post is number 15 comment.
Now let me go back and see who that is...........hold on a sec...............................

EVETTE!!

Hey the winner is YOU Evette!!

LOL
Can you believe that?
Man I'm way stoked about that.
So call me Evette and we'll sort out details.

Everyone else SORRY MAN.
But, I do love you, (yeah I know lame) and THANKS tons for voting.

Feeding the Geese

We went to one of our favourite parks last Monday night to feed the ducks.
We'd been saving our bread for a couple of weeks.
There's a river there, a park, ducks and geese.
We warned the kids to stay away from the geese cause they're usually grumpy.
But we couldn't find any ducks AT ALL, so resorted to trying out the geese for size.
Turns out they were really friendly and rather nice.
So it made us look like liars to our kids I'm sure, but they got to use the bread.
Here's Yuki feeding the geese.
We had a long talk about how if there's just one it's GOOSE and if there's more than one it's GEESE.
The kids are still working on that one.
I think by this point they'd had their fill of bread and wandered away.
Masaru found this feather and LOVED it.
I told him he couldn't bring it home or anything but we'd get a picture of him with it to show everyone how big it was.
Then we moved over to a new group of geese to feed.
They were very happy to be fed.
We even had a few from another field fly over and land right infront of us.
I wish we'd gotten that shot.
It was awesome.

No one was bitten and everyone was happy.
Well.............................almost everyone.
Yuki just needed some more bread here.
She just couldn't get over how awesome the geese were.
I love these last two shots of her.

The kids also brought their scooters and raced around.
It was a really good family night with each other.

No Handle Bars

Yuki was outside riding her tricycle while singing "I can ride my bike with no handle bars, no handle bars, no handle bars."
Influences of the Flobots.

Takeshi's walking baby!!!!!!

I caught him climbing up on this stool yesterday. So before he fell over I quickly caught a picture of him.
It's not the best, but you get the jist of it.
King of the rock!

No turning back now.
It'll be nice to get him off of the concrete when I go to parks.
He refuses to wear shoes though.
So I dunno what to do about that.

Good job bub.
Love you.

Chris

I gave Chris the Book of Mormon this morning at our session.
He asked me if the mormon church would accept him with all his tattoos?
I said "Listen Chris, if they can accept me, you'll be fine, besides, the church needs people like us right?"
And he laughed.
It was a really good session.
Next weeks my last one with him.
Pretty sad, I think I'm gonna invite them to dinner.
I'll be interested to see what he has to say about the Book of Mormon next week.
I know he's got down time at the gym.
I prayed tons this week for him.
I prayed before I wrote in the front of the Book of Mormon, I talked to my brother who gave me a few tips.
I did the best I could.
I even got a restless sleep last night and all my dreams were variations of him accepting the Book or rejecting it.
Funny aye.
Our session was suppose to be on Thursday morning and I was getting butterflies and not feeling good at all, I was hard out nervous, then he rang me to cancel and make it this morning.
While we talked on the phone I relaxed and got this feeling that everything would be ok and was good all Thursday night and today.
It's kinda funny really but even though it was on my mind, I didn't have butterflies at all and it was really casual and he accepted it straight away and said thanks.
It was like no big deal.
I'm excited.
We've just had some really good conversations and it's been a great time.

Got an extra 30 seconds?

So remember this couple?
Well they put their daughter in a competition for cuteness.
I was thinking, since you're reading this, and you love me, and maybe have like an extra 30 seconds, you could go to THIS website and go to page 178 and find the name 'Grace' and vote for her.
You only get one vote, I have about 60+ followers on google reader, so I figure if everyone just took 30 seconds to vote for her she might actually win, and that'd be awesome.
Then I'd owe all you guys.
So I was thinking, now you have to be honest, if you VOTE for her, LEAVE me a comment and I'll put you in the draw to get a prize.
I think that's fair enough, you take 30 seconds of your time and I reward you by putting you in the draw to win something.
Thanks guys.

Good kids

My kids begged to wash the dishes yesterday.
So, of course, I let them.
I hope this keeps up.
They also begged to sweep the floor and mop it.
I did dishes about 20 years of my life.
I love dishwashers, that's all I gotta say.
I've got tons of books on tape.
Here's Yuki listening to one, all on her own.
She loves it man.
I used to love it as a kid too.
I still remember the books I listened too.
I'm glad my kids love to read and listen to books.

Masaru in action

He had his first game on Saturday.
I thought it was at 10am and didn't know where he was suppose to being playing.
So after walking around for 20 mins we found it and found out his game wasn't till 12noon.
So at least he didn't miss out.
But I dragged all of us, including Evette's family, around for nothing.
Oh well.
Dru went back with Masaru and I stayed home with Takeshi, as he was napping. So I missed out on his first game.
He's like "Mum can you please come to my games?"
So now we know where it's at and I've CONFIRMED the times CORRECTLY, we'll be good to go and I won't miss another one.

Dru said he did well.
He said there's a girl on his team who's dynamite.
So I think that's awesome for Masaru to see that girl in action every week.
Gives him a good 'girls can do anything' perspective that's important.
There's lots of room for improvement, so that's fantastic.
I'm excited to see him play this season and see him progressively get better and better.
It's just wonderful.
He just looks so handsome in that uniform!!

Love you bub.

Help

I took these pic's this morning.
Dru likes this first one.

I like this last one of Yuki though.
Tell me your thoughts.
It's be nice to see which one you like and why.
Then I like this one of Takeshi.
Dru likes this one.

I think this last one is cute but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be outta the first two.
What do you think?
Which one would you choose?

What do you sleep with?

Looks like a normal bed right?
Well kinda.
Until you get up close and realize that he's sleeping with a pig's head!
That's right, a pig's head salvaged from a friends party.
It used to be a pinata before it became added to Masaru's pig collection.
Doesn't he get nightmares waking up to that?
I would.
I reminds me of a certain movie!

Evette came

So one of my best mates, Evette, came to stay for the weekend.
It was tons of fun to have them with us and our kids are great mates.
Evette is a fellow 'kiwi' and we've been mates for ................. hmmmmmmmmmmm let's see.................... I'd say around 10 years now. Wow, it's been that long? Crazy.
She meet and married an american as well.
We both ended up teaching at the same school in Utah.
It's worked out great.
She's a budding photographer and here are a few of the shots she took of our adventures over the weekend.
I love these ones of Masaru. She's captured his personality well I think.
He doesn't like being the centre of attention and so getting a decent picture of him is tough, really tough.
We went to the park and played, but most of the playing was just done in our own back yard, on the swing set, in the front yard and in the house!!
The kids just played and played.
Here's Yuki in all her adventures.
I love that bottom one of her laughing.
We talked and hung out and enjoyed each others company.
We even talked to her mother on skype!!
That was awesome.
I tried a new recipe with them on Friday night which turned out great (thanks Nat)
Here's Takeshi looking all cute.
My favourite is the one of him in the sun and shadow in the middle there.
Here's Evette's two cute kids, Emma and Lucca.
They caught a grasshopper to feed to the lizard that lives in Masaru's kindy class. He was going to keep it for the weekend and take it in on Monday.
He decided to let it go though.
I love that shot of the grasshopper eating grass!!
Who knew they ate grass?
I guess it was probably an easy guess since they're named 'grass' hoppers, but Evette captured it actually eating the grass.
Great shot.
Here's all the hoodlums on the swing in our backyard.
It was tons of fun to have them here.
Love you guys, come back soon.

Evette has a photography blog.

Click on the link above and it'll take you right to it.

Personal Trainer

So in switching gyms I received 6 sessions with a personal trainer.
They asked if I wanted a guy or a girl and I said I didn't care.
So I got Chris.

Chris and I have met 4 times now and it's been really good.

I mean the work outs have been good and such but the talks we're having are awesome.

We all know how honest I am and outgoing and it's been 4 fun sessions filled with laughs, workouts and getting to know each other.

Chris is really cool and we've been talking about the church now for the last two sessions.
Especially this last one I was at yesterday.

He knew I was a 'mormon' early on in the game.
I gave him a hard time about drinking coffee and talked a little about my family and stuff.
I mean.......................when you're with a person for an hour, and don't know them, there's lots to talk about.

We talked about my dad and mum, and he's talked about his girlfriend and his mum.
Last week he told me he went to a church and believed in Jesus.
I gave him a hard time cause he'd been holding out on the 'Jesus' thing with me for the first 2 sessions.

Yesterday he asked me what we believed in and how it was different from his church.
I said 'Where would you like me to start and how much time do you have?'

We talked about God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost.
We talked about the Book of Mormon and where it came from and how it relates to the bible.
We talked about Joseph Smith.
I told him about the plan of Salvation and how I know I'd see Dad again.
We even talked about tithing!

It's been fantastic and I've been loving it.
I dunno what's gonna happen.
All I know is that I said a little prayer on the way to the gym yesterday and asked Heavenly Father if he could help me to say and do the right thing with Chris and the gospel.
When I left the session with him yesterday I told Heavenly Father........................'well that was the best I could do, I hope it was good enough'

Chris didn't say too much, just listened and asked questions here and there about it.
He interrupted a story I was saying about crocheting a hat to ask about the gospel!!
I guess he didn't like my crochet story!

While I was doing push ups he'd get down on the ground so he could hear everything I was saying.
He had no idea how many reps I had done so today I'm really sore cause I"m sure I did WAY more than 15 reps yesterday cause he was too busy not counting, just listening.
I told him he owed me a free session cause he's slacking in the actual 'working out' area.
He told me "Sorry, sorry, you're making me think too much"
But that's a good thing, and I'm willing to sacrifice, rock hard abs for Chris getting to know the church more you know.

I'm thinking of giving him a Book of Mormon next week and once our sessions are over, inviting him, his girlfriend and mother around for dinner, so then it's not unprofessional!
I dunno, we'll see right?
But he's a good guy and it's been fun getting to know him.
I just hope I can do a good job representing the gospel and Jesus Christ for him.

It feels nice to use my missionary skills again.
Just gotta open your mouth.
And we all know, I'm good at that ;)

Little mouse in a house

So mum made this jersey for Masaru.
It's a little big but he LOVES it.
Today was cold and I told him he needed to take a jacket as they go outside, even if it's raining.
I just learned that yesterday, even though it was raining, Masaru was outside, no jacket, playing.
Oh well.
Anyway he chose to wear this.
I think he looks like a little mouse hanging out in it's hole, with his head poking out.
He came home after school excited cause the teacher LOVED his jersey.

I also had to send him to school with a snack (no peanuts) starting with the letter I.
I signed up late so got the crap letter.
What the hell starts with I that has no peanuts and is an easy 'snack' for the kids to eat AS WELL AS glue on a GIGANTIC letter I for all the kids to have fun with?
Who knows?
Even if they included peanuts that wouldn't help.
So I wandered up and down the isles at the local supermarket and spotted 'Mike and Ikes' lollies and got those.
What else could I get?
Ice cream?
Yeah right.
Ice?
I asked Masaru how that went down and he said it was awesome. All the kids loved it. They had one for themselves and one to stick on their I.
Perfect.
He comes home telling me about all these friends he has.
So hopefully they're good ones.
I really should volunteer once or twice a year so I can get to know these kids but honestly, how?
Anyway I think school's going well.
Who really knows.

I took Yuki to the doctor's office today with Takeshi for their 1 and 3 year check ups.
Man can I just say how much I LOVE our new doctor?
Love him.

Yuki stats= Weight 30.25 lbs (13.7 kgs) 50th %tile
Height 36.75 in (93 cms) 50th %tile
Yuki's remained in the 50th percentile her whole life. Since her first doctor's appointment as a new born. I think it's awesome. What are the chances of that?

Takeshi stats=Weight 22.81 lbs (10.3 kgs) 40th %tile
Height 31 inches (78.7 cms) 75th %tile
So kinda the same as last time.
Who knew Takeshi was under average for his weight. Does he look skinny to you? Man kids must be getting big these days to make him under average.
It baffles me.
Anyway I'm gonna move him from 2% milk in his bottle (oops I mean sippy cup ;))to whole milk.
I'd like him to be 50th.
Not that it really matters, I mean he's doing great but, you know, let's see if it makes a difference aye.
Plus they're gonna test his ears (even though I know he can hear) cause he's not saying anything.
Looks like I've got another boy who doesn't like to talk much.
Why don't my boys talk?
Yuki talks?
I talk to them tons.
Maybe the poor things can't get a word in edge wise.

Rain

So I watered the grass this morning. That only means one thing, it'll rain.
And sure enough, it did.
That didn't stop these kids though.
When Masaru was at school these guys decided they wanted to play outside.
Yuki's getting good on her trike and Takeshi loves this car thing.
He just needs a little help scooting around.
He's already got two little scabs over his toes from dragging his feet.

Yuki hiding from the rain.
I wish I could squat like that.
