So we were watching Kung Fu Panda II this afternoon together and Yuki was crying. I said "What's wrong Yuki?" and then she told me she was upset that Po's village got burned.
I tried to explain to her that the panda's got away though cause at the end of the movie we see them all in a new village. She said she knew but it still made her sad cause the mum died.
The part where Po's mum has him and tucks him away in a box and tries to reassure him it's gonna be ok then leaves him crying comes on, so I try to explain that that's what mum's do to protect their children and that she'd be happy to know he was safe and happy.
She said "So is that something you'd do for us?" to which I replied through tears "Of course"
She then gets upset cause the mother gets attacked by the wolves andso I tried to explain it's ok cause just knowing Po's alive will make it worth it to her.
So here we are Yuki and I both crying watching Kung Fu Panda II and I'm thinking "COULD THIS GIRL BE ANY MORE LIKE ME?"
It's scary man.
I remember as a child ALWAYS crying at movies that were sad and being mocked for it by my siblings.
And let's get serious I STILL ALWAYS CRY at movies man.
I didn't think it had been passed onto Yuki until today.
I feel bad for her man.
Another tender heart in the family.
Poor Dru.
More hugs for him to give out I guess.
At least her brothers don't mock her..................................
Also on another tangent Takeshi keeps wanting to talk about my Dad (his Grandfather) he keeps talking about him being in heaven and how he died and how much he misses him.
It's like he's obsessed with it as of late.
He always goes to his picture and carries it around and talks about him being dead and how I cried and he cries but he's in heaven.
It's pretty cute and I'm pretty proud of the fact that I've been able to talk about it with the kids so much lately. I still haven't revealed the entire truth, but if they ask the right questions, I'll tell them.
For now Takeshi just goes around talking about he was sick and died and went to heaven and everyone cried and he cried and he misses him and if he was here he'd ride bikes with him.
So true Takesh, so true.

Mushroom
So I was sitting with Takeshi yesterday and there was a little blob of milk spilled on the kitchen bench right!!
He turns to me and goes 'Look mum a mushroom' and sticks his finger in it and pulls the milk out a little so it has a little line coming from the blob, so it kinda looks like a mushroom.
I chuckled to myself and wondered where on earth he thought of that and how many times he'd maybe practiced it and thought about that in his head, or if it was just random?
Who knows.
But I thought it was a pretty cool glimpse into his head and knew I needed to write it down.
Every time we go to the store he wants me to buy mushrooms, maybe he has a fetish right now, mushrooms on the brain and such.
Love the little moments.

Thanksgiving 2012
So we headed down to Utah to Dru's parents for Thanksgiving.
The kids love being with their grandparents and their cuzzies.
They have the best time.
We had a great day with great food. I loved it.
We also headed out to Walmart to see if we could get a trampoline for the kids on 'black friday' sales.
We missed out and were bummed but picked out a couple of other things as a secondary plan which wasn't too bad.
The next day we hung out with the cuzzies more and caught up with friends that night at my mates Laura's house.
It was nice to see old friends.
Here I am with my mate Katie and her mother.
Here's all three sisters who are near and dear to my heart.
Here's Maryanne, Mari and Laura.
Always good seeing these guys.
There was great food and good conversation.
Thanks Lau you're the best.
Latter on that night we also saw Uncle Pugs and Stacey who helped me with my knitting.
It breaks my heart that I don't live next door to her so that I can do her dishes and as exchange she can help me with my knitting.
Raw deal. I tried to convince Pugs to move to Boise but he said nothing.................I've learned when people say nothing they don't want to upset you with their REAL answer..............
Then the next morning we headed out with Dru's sis and bro and their families to cut down a Christmas tree.
Well Dru and I were along for the ride cause we had no way to take a tree back, but it was fun none the less.
Look at Emiko......................lol
My mother made this hat for Yuki and it's just been waiting around for Emiko all these years and here we go again.
Takeshi having fun in the snow.
Man can I just say that snow clothes are great as well as the HORROR.
I can't wait till my kids can dress themselves.
Snow angel.
Hanging out with cuzzie Tess.
Hanging out with cuzzie Zeke.
Penny for your thoughts Takesh?
Yuki dancing around in the snow.
Making her best pirate face for the camera.
Snow angel.
Hanging out with his cuzzie.
So you know what the horrible thing about snow clothes are?
When you need to go pee.
You have to take ALL THE CLOTHES OFF basically and wait around for your kid to go or EVEN WORSE decide they DON'T NEED TO GO only to be asked to do it ALL OVER AGAIN in about 5 mins.
A mother could go mental I tell you.
Snow fight.
Watching Uncle Ryan cut down their Christmas tree.
No serious casualties by the river, just a few minor ones right Les ;)
Hanging out on the trailer.
The family shot.
We then stopped for lunch while Uncle Chris put his tree on his cruiser.
That was a fun day.
The older two kids stayed the night at their cuzzies house, thanks Auntie Kristin.
Yuki told me today she was crying that night cause she missed us, so I"m sure that was a great night with my kids ;)
That night we met up and watched the new James Bond movie which I thoroughly enjoyed by the way.
Then Sunday we packed, cleaned and headed out.
Now I'm left with a disaster of a house, no food, a sick husband in bed and washing up the wazoo to do.
Fun times.
All worth it though.
Great Thanksgiving.

Crawling
I finally captured a little of it today for her to see later on in life.
She'll be 9 months in a week.
WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE?
The only problem is, the minute she starts REALLY crawling I'm going to have to be more vigilant about things on the floor and that's kinda stressful.
But it's nice to see her progress right along.
I've yet to mourn that this is my last child.
I feel nothing but good about it actually.
I haven't once felt the gnawing feeling of 'Is this my last one? Am I ok with that?'
It's a resounding YES I'm totally and MORE THAN ok with it.
I'm 35 and have had 4 c-sections, I'm tired and I gain lots of weight which is hard to get off.
I feel truly blessed with these four children who complete a part of my life I'd get no where else.
Now if there was a baby out there or siblings who needed to be adopted I'D TOTALLY DO IT.
But as for carrying and birthing I'm done.
But I need to stick by the rule I give other women which is 'I'm not going to fully believe you until your baby is AT LEAST a year old'
Emiko isn't a year, so we'll see what I'm saying in 3 months I guess, but I'm pretty damn sure it's a DUNSKIE for me people.
If you'd like me to adopt your baby though, give me a call ;)
My matcher
Takeshi helps me with the dishes.
His job is the plastic utensils.
First he grabs them from the dishwasher, then he sorts them and then he puts them in the correct place in the drawer.
I love it and will be the first to admit he does NOT get this from his mother..............

Family Pic's
So our mate Nat took our family pic's this year.
She has a face book page if you'd like to see more of her work.
Just look up 'Natalie Marie Photography' and you should find her.
I think she did a brilliant job considering it was FREEZING COLD and our kids were shivering, it started snowing right at the end and when the wind picked up we thought we were going to turn into ice blocks!!
I'm not sure what I was thinking with making the kids wear short sleeves!!!
I guess I should've looked out the window.....
So here's all the family pic's we like.
This one is great apart from Yuki who looks as if she's being tortured.......
Still the tortured look and I'm not sure where Takeshi is looking?
I like this candid shot.
As well as this one.
I like that Masaru never took his eye off the camera..............there's always one right?
Love this one.
This is my second favourite after the very first one right back at the top.
Then you have the shots of the handsome couple..............trying to act natural for the camera.
This one's pretty true to form actually. We laugh a lot together.
Just making sure he doesn't blow away in the wind since he's lost so much weight..........
Love, love, love this shot of Masaru.....
Of course I love this one. I think we were reminding him of Dad's farts being so bad one time we almost passed out as a family. That always makes 'em smile.
Nat said that Yuki's eye were just as is.........beautiful.
I'm sorry people but you can't convince me that this girl isn't one of the best looking girls on the planet.
She's just so beautiful, it amazes me sometimes.
She gets it all from her mother *shifty eyes side to side* and I say that with the deepest of humility *slowly backing away from lightning about to strike*
Someone needs to be paying me to have this girl wear their clothes and be on their walls.
Takeshi and that cheeky face.
Love this kid.
Emiko wouldn't crack a smile man no matter how hard we tried.
So this is what we got.
Maybe she was cold.
Still a cutie no matter which way the winds blowing. *nice pun Milz*
And lastly the four of our children together.
I like this shot as well.
I can't believe they're all looking at the camera and have decent faces?
It's a Christmas miracle.................
Thanks Nat, you're awesome and truly have the 'gift'
Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
Love you
